Bookkeeping inbox to P&L

Inbox in. Sheet out. Monthly P&L updates. You still own the books.

How it's set up

They posted a bookkeeping agent that scanned inbox, logged invoices and payments, built a Google Sheet, and made a monthly auto-updating P&L. We have the tweet. We do not have the Sheet we audited.

  1. 01Connect the inbox where invoices land. Read-only first.
  2. 02The bot logs invoices and payments it finds. It does not invent a line.
  3. 03It builds or updates a Google Sheet you own. You spot-check rows.
  4. 04Monthly P&L tab updates from that Sheet. You read it before anyone else does.
  5. 05You still file taxes. Cap inbox rereads.

Prompt

We cannot write an honest starter prompt from what was published. Use the steps above.

How the money works

Clean books and a living P&L save accountant hours and missed lines. First proof is one Sheet with invoices from real mail and a P&L tab you checked — not a tax refund we have not seen.

What to try first

This week: inbox to Sheet for one month of invoices, spot-check, then add a P&L tab.

Watch out

  • Tokens: cap the run so one desk does not burn the week.
  • Time: one checked result beats a pile you did not review.
  • Claim: We have the tweet. Not a Sheet export we saw. Not a public install.
